I'm sorry for my less than enthusiastic photos and face in this post. I'm still REALLY sick. I was hoping that I wouldn't look to sick in the photos but I failed. Anyway, this outfit is pretty boring. I'm lacking energy and inspiration at the moment so I just throw on anything. This is a typical work outfit for me.

Anyway, I just hope I get better soon. I can't deal with this for very much longer. Also I can't wait for the Zara sale! It starts TODAY but I won't be shopping until tomorrow unfortunately.

Just wanted to post my current nails as I haven't posted in a week or so. Its been rainy and windy in NYC which tends to make ootd shooting difficult. I'm also really sick and with the state of my face and the way I'm feeling, I don't really feel like being on camera.

New Yorkers Wear Black

Have you ever woken up one morning and just decided to wear all black? I seem to get that urge all of the time. Part of me wants to blame it on being a New Yorker, but I really just like wearing black. I love the drab, monochrome, dark and dreary look. I prefer blacks, whites and grays to wearing more color.

Anyway, this was just a simple outfit I threw on to go to work. This shawl cardigan from American Apparel is one of my favorite pieces of clothing. I love the loose, flowy feel it has. It makes any outfit unique. I also love loose cardigans and tops in general. I don't like to emphasize my bust and looser articles of clothing tend to mask that.

Camera Meltdown

I got dressed the morning I took these photos and went to my favorite filming location. I set up my tripod and attached my camera only to find out that my battery pack needed to be replaced. I called Canon and they said to try to charge it, so I did so at work. It worked! I loved my outfit so much that I decided to have my sister take some photos of me when I got home that night(around 11pm). The lighting isn't horrible, so I will be using this location to take a lot of my outfit photos on days that I don't have time to go anywhere "pretty" to film.

Anyway, I picked up these jeans at Zara the other day and have already worn them twice. I LOVE the burgundy/maroon/oxblood trend. I also love the cut and fit of these jeans so I'll definitely pick up some more in different colors! Also, they were only $35.90! Such a steal for a good pair of jeans!
