OMG. Have I mentioned how much I love burgundy? I think its my #1 color for this fall/winter. Its just so warm and inviting and chic and fabulous! Anyway, I look like a freaking alien in this post. My eyes look all large and sunken in. I'm exhausted. Working two jobs, going to school and blogging is tough. Along with seeing my boyfriend and attempting to have some sort of a life. But whatever, I'm not complaining. 

I hate turtlenecks, but this cowl neck sweater is perfect. I provides warmth without choking the living hell out of me. I got it from H&M recently so it should still be there. This color reminds me of the holiday season, so I'm gonna but a few more burgundy things for the winter. Also, I'm in LOVE with my new bag from Zara. I've got a handbag obsession currently which isn't a good thing since a lot of them are kinda expensive. Zara has some pretty affordable bags though, so I'll be shopping there more often! NOTW: Another mix and match

Super quick nail post! Mix and match patterns yet again. What else is new? I'm in a rut nail wise. I'm also super busy so its easy to do something thats already familiar. Products used are Essie's "e-nut is e-nut", OPI's "My Boyfriend Scales Walls" and a black striper polish.

Thanksgiving

This is a day late, but Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it. I'm super thankful for all of the wonderful people in my life. I wouldn't be the person I am without them!

Today's outfit is simple and comfortable because I worked the entire day. This dress is from H&M last year but the rest of my outfit can still be found in store. I really like this color blue with my complexion. 

I'm on the lookout for more staple items in this color.

NOTW: Blue Tribal

This design was actually my first ever successful attempt to do tribal nails. I took pictures but forgot to post so I'm doing it now. Election Day: An OOTD

Election day was such a hectic day. I voted for the first time and I was so anxious about the outcome of the election. I managed to get some time to take some OOTD photos before the sun went down. I hate that it gets dark around 5pm now! Its going to make shooting OOTD photos outdoors so much more difficult.

I went for a reasonably comfortable, but warm outfit. I was going to an election party that night so I wanted a sophisticated, but casual look. I'd like to say that I succeeded. It was also about 40 degrees so that also had an input on this outfit. This blazer from H&M is one of my winter staples. Its kind of two toned, so it stands out a lot while also going with literally EVERYTHING. 

I wish I would have gotten a picture of the election party. It was so crowded! I was pleasantly surprised at the turnout. Its nice to see people in my age group so interested in the direction our country is going in!
