I've realized that I mostly take ootd photos when I'm going shopping. I went shopping with Trina for a little pre birthday "shopping spree". It wasn't really a spree because we didn't really buy that much, but yeah. Anyway, I wore a pretty much all Zara outfit with the exception of my shoes and jacket. It started raining so I ended up changing into my converse.

P.S. - We also went to Space N.K.(the Greene St. store in NYC), and it wasn't all that its cracked up to be. Maybe the Space N.K.'s in the UK are better but I was a little disappointed. I plan to research some products and then take another trip there soon!

Review: American Apparel Neon Nail Polishes

I used to work at American Apparel, and when I did I used my discount most often for nail polish. Their nail polishes are mostly one coat polishes, except for these neon ones. I use two coats, but I don't need to use a white base for them. They're opaque enough to use without a base. I love the colors and the finish. They dry matte but stay really glossy with a good top coat. I really want the neon coral color so I think I'll be getting that soon. I use the Neon Yellow and Neon Green ones the most but I love them all.

23rd Birthday OOTD

So Trina took these photos of me in the bathroom at Benihana on our birthday. She didn't tell me there was a freaking piece of toilet paper in the corner! SO rude! 

Anyway, it was really late when dinner ended so we snapped these photos really quickly in the bathroom right before we left. I wore this dress that I got from H&M two winters ago. I think this color blue works really well with my skin tone. 

I paired the dress with my favorite belt from American Apparel and my Zara chain bag and spiked flats. It was a really simple birthday outfit but perfect for Benihana because it was so comfortable and I find that the seating arrangement at Benihana so uncomfortable! I'm too tall to be cramped against that table for two hours!

This might possibly be the most amazing birthday gift I have ever gotten. I actually knew ahead of time that my boyfriend Kevin was getting me the bag but the wallet was a complete surprise! The Selma bag was actually featured on my birthday wishlist which is my boyfriend got idea to get me the bag. Smart cookie, huh? I didn't even know he read my blog! I actually found out that I was getting it because I recently made my school's dean's list(which I am extremely proud of myself for), and wanted to get myself the Selma bag as a celebratory gift. I told Kevin that I was going to get it and he ended up  telling me so that I wouldn't buy it. Anyway, he totally surprised me and got a matching wallet as well! I'm so incredibly grateful and I love him so much!

I haven't actually used the bag yet(as I'm typing this), so I will do a full review of the bag and wallet in a month or so! I'm so excited to use it!

It took my roughly around a million years to find this polish. LOL jk. Not literally a million years, but a really long time. I actually didn't find it. My twin sister Trina actually found it at Target.

I absolutely adore this color. Its a bluey-turquoise color, which is not like anything any color in my collection. Its really pretty on the nails and works well for any skin tone. I highly recommend that everyone pick up this color! This polish is absolutely perfect for spring and summer and I know that I will be wearing it a lot.

This is honestly my ideal outfit for shopping. My younger sister and I went out on Mother's Day to get our mom a gift and some leisure shopping. I ADORE this oversized t-shirt from H&M and I'm going to go get more. I have pretty large boobs and this shirt masks that, which I love. It was pretty warm so I just paired it with my favorite blazer and these really old Forever 21 jeans. This outfit was really comfortable and perfect for a long day in the mall.
